About the Emsella Method

We offer Emsella follow-up appointments for those who have previously completed an Emsella course and wish to schedule maintenance visits to sustain their results.

Studies on Emsella show a satisfaction rate of 85–95% at follow-up after six months. The longevity of the results varies depending on your initial condition and the severity of your issues. If a decrease in effect is noticed after approximately 4–12 months, we recommend an Emsella follow-up visit and a booster dose.

• A booster dose of 1–2 treatments, spaced at least 3 days apart, is recommended around 4–12 months after your initial course.
• Depending on your needs, maintenance treatments are recommended approximately 1–2 times per year to maintain results.
• We also encourage continuing pelvic floor exercises between Emsella treatments. Like all muscles in the body, the pelvic floor requires regular training to stay strong.

How the treatment works

No change of clothes is required before the treatment. Come with dry clothes and dry hair. You sit fully clothed on the EMSELLA chair for 28 minutes. During the treatment, you can read a book you brought or listen to something with your own headphones. After the treatment, you can immediately resume daily activities without any problems.

Recommended clothing

An Emsella treatment is performed fully clothed (preferably wearing thin pants or tights) while seated on the Emsella chair. The treatment lasts approximately 30 minutes. After the session, you can immediately resume your daily activities without any issues.
